Universal Synaptics to Attend the Upcoming
F-16 TCG & World Wide Review
Ogden, Utah. September 2010 – Universal Synaptics Corp. announced plans to continue their long participation with the F-16 TCG WWR and Proven Aircraft Conference that is held annually by the United States Air Force. The F-16 TCG WWR and Proven Aircraft Conference is built upon the cooperative efforts between the International Communities, Supporting Vendors and the US Government organizations. The conference focus’s on providing opportunities for interaction between the logistics, technical and acquisition communities supporting the various weapon systems represented today and will be held at the Eccles Convention Center in Ogden, Utah.
Universal Synaptics participation in this annual event provides opportunities for the TCG staff, DoD employees, commercial contractors and the F-16 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers, to discuss items of common interest concerning intermittent / No Fault Found (NFF), improvements and advancements in failure analysis, and continued results achieved by the U.S. Air Force with the Intermittent Fault Detection & Isolation System (IFDIS).
Universal Synaptics will showcase the portable Ncompass-IFD 4000 in booth number 94, and perform live demonstrations of intermittent fault testing on the F-16 AN/APG-68 Radar System Azimuth Elevation (AZ/EL) SRU Ribbon Cable. Delegates will also have the opportunity to see The Intermittent Fault Detection & Isolation System (IFDIS) briefing twice, first at 9:00am on September 14th for the Proven Aircraft delegates and then later the same day at 2:15pm for the F-16 delegates.
“We believe our continued participation with the F-16 and Proven Aircraft communities benefits our long term vision as a company” said Ken Anderson, Universal Synaptics Vice President of Sales & Business Development. “Our technological advancements and continued results on the F-16 radar system is important information to share with the TCG, and hold significant importance to the worldwide sustainment and operation of the F-16 as well as Proven Aircraft”.
Since 1996, Universal Synaptics Corporation, based in Ogden, UT., has been an industry leader in detecting and isolating elusive intermittent faults, and spent years in the "trenches" researching and solving complex diagnostic and testing problems. Their research into the primary root causes of intermittent / No Fault Found (NFF) problems and the massive digital testing void that exists today with conventional scanning test equipment, led to the development of the patented Intermittent Fault Detector (IFD), hardware neural network and all-lines-all-the-time wiring / circuit analyzer test solutions.
